29 November 2010 - Cathy Butler-Smith joins GeoGuide - Accounts Manager
Cathy joined GeoGuide at the end of November 2010 and brings over 28 years of accountancy and administration experience with her. Cathy knows the Oil and Gas industry extremely well, having joined ECL in 1982 and then transferring to RPS Energy in 2005. She has dealt widely with customers/suppliers and consultants from all aspects of the business over the years and we welcome her to GeoGuide as a valued member of our ever expanding team.

1 November 2010 - Amanda Hyam joins GeoGuide - Marine Wildlife Manager
GeoGuide welcomes Amanda to the team as she joins us in the capacity of Marine Wildlife Manager, she has over 13 years experience working with marine mammals, both in research and the rehabilition and conservation side. This is in addition to the extensive experience she has gained in the seismic sector as both lead Marine Mammal Observer and as a Passive Accoustic Operator and Technician. Amanda has also lectured on many of the JNCC MMO training courses and has close links with the developers of PAM and the associated software PAMGUARD. Besides the ongoing support that she will give to our MMO's and PAM Operators out in the field, Amanda will provide GeoGuide with the additional capacity of offering Environmental Impact Assessments to our many valued clients. Her excellent ability to communicate well with both crew and client, assisting them to work within the marine mammal regulations, will always ensure successful completion to any client project.
